Unable to delete the delivery in VL02N

Hi all.

We have one issue in delivery document deletion/change,

Initially delivery was created with inspection lot as per QM set up in the material master.

In VL02N, User updated batch number , tank number and quantity  at header level  and saved the delivery.

while saving system deleted inspection lot in QALS .

when we tried to post PGI , system doesnot allow to PGI, we get error

Error : " Status of inspection lot/ partial lot does not allow goods issue"

When we tried to post batch split , we get error

Error : Batch in item XXXX is already specified for material XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

When tried to delete the delivery , we get error

Error :Change not possible , because item is in quality inspection.

when checked the details , it seems inspection lot was deleted in QALS table only, but still remain in LIPS table

Can any one help me , to delete the delivery.

Status of inspection lot/ partial lot does not allow goods issue

There is an OSS note which will supress this error message but your case is only with one delivery.  Hence, you need to take the help of ABAPer and by-pass the error message and post the goods issue.

Users may still make this error.

Can you suggest me the OSS note to delete the delivery

You cannot delete the delivery by downloading OSS note.  Please go through  my comments once again.  With the help of ABAPer, for your current delivery, you need to by-pass the error message and post the goods issue.

To ensure that this issue should not happen once again, go through the following note

• Note 503542 - Error VL171 for goods issue for the outbound delivery

and carry out necessary coding corrections
