Solution Manager 7.1 steps after SPS upgrade

Hi everyone!

I just finished upgrade of Solution Manager 7.1 from SPS04 to SPS12. Previously I performed solman_setup (basic configuration and system preparation). My question is, what are suggested steps after upgrade? In upgrade guide there are some follow-up activities listed. Do I have to perform solman_setup again?

You have to.

But most of the sub-steps will be ok. For the ones where you need to make updates, you will be notified by a tick.

Read carefully the  central Note 1969109, before applying in solman_setup and apply all the steps.

You have to read carefully and follow all the advice/needed actions contained in SAP Note 2020219. It would be a good idea to check this first.

Note 2053937 also may save you some time with common issues.

You need to adjust the changes by running the solman_setup again.

yes, if required you have to.

Also, you are moving from Sp04 to Sp12.. there will be lots of changes, so you need to adjust and is a good practice.
