Migration to MSCS environment

Dear,

Environment: windows 2003SAP ECC5.0ORACLE920

Our production is runing on a single server.We want has a MSCS system to protect hardware crush.

I have made a plan about the migration:

1.backup the database.

2.Install SAP in the new hardware from empty.The SAP SID is same as before.

3.restore the database.

Any suggestion?

Migration means changing either OS or Database since you are going for high availbility configration you need to post what is your target OS & Database

go for high availability configration

i think you are not going to change the OS also then you need to do system copy all are discussed in that inst.guides

Your message is not clear what is the source OS/DB and target OS/DB. are you going to change DB or OS becasue you are using Migration.
