WM movement type error

Can someone help me fix this error when creating a basic delivery document.

1.Created a delivery document with ref to sales order. and

transfer order

then was getting an error " Warehouse is not assigned".

So I created new warehouse and assigned it to the plant .

2. Then I have added the quantity update and value update using

transaction code 0ms2 .

now on- VL01n - for delivery, I get this

"WM movement type 601 not allowed for warehouse number xyz".

Hi Gita,

Instead of creating a New Ware house thr new entries why not you create a new ware house by copying the existing ware house, as such i di not understand the need for you to create a new ware house all together. you can as well use the existing ones in system from SD point of view. DO remember to assign combination of Plant and Storage location to Ware House No in IMG.

Hello Gita,

You need to configure complete warehouse which is assigned to your storage location. You can use the copy functionality to create new warehouse which will copy all pre-configured settings for your newly created warehouse, the only things you need to do is define the number ranges for various WM transactions ie. TR, TO, PCN, SU (if using).

I suggest you to take help from WM or MM consultant for this, if you are not comfortable for settingup WM.
