Schedule Start - Stop

Hello,

We are under this HANA version:

HANA version	1.00.70.386119
HANA One version	Rev 52.1

I would like to know if stopping the instance from AWS console stops first the HANA database and then the instance.

Also, I would like to know if there is any way to schedule this, for example, start it from Monday to Friday at 7:00 AM, Stop it at 07:00 PM.

Hello,

The answer to your first question is Yes.

When you stop the EC2 Instance, we first stop HANA and then the instance.

Scheduling Instance is a AWS is a API / related question. You can use the following api's

• ec2-start-instances
• ec2-stop-instances
