Hi ,

when i take full backup of hana database i got the error .

hdbsql HDB=> BACKUP DATA USING FILE ('Monday')

* 2: general error: Backup error: Out of memory ; $size$=; $name$=; $type$=; $inuse_count$=; $allocated_size$= SQLSTATE: HY000

the error remain same for hanastudio.

However i have a lots of free ram on server.

total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached

Mem:         61054      35331      25722          0        272       4807

-/+ buffers/cache:      30251      30802

Swap:            0          0          0

i continuously see the ram usage ,  lots of ram is free at the time of error.

can anyone help me?

Hello Vipin,

Can you share screenshot of UI which shows status of HANA Admin and Backup and Recovery page.

Which version of HANA are you using? Have you upgraded ?
