Hello All,
During CRM upgrade in preprocessing in MAIN_SHDPREPUT/START_SHDI_PREPUT!,
Upgrade stop wih:
Severe error(s) occurred in phase MAIN_SHDPREPUT/START_SHDI_PREPUT!
Last error code set: Shadow instance couldn't be started, check 'STARTSSC.LOG' and 'DEVTRACE.LOG': Process S:\SUM\abap\exe/sapcontrol.exe exited with 2, see 'S:\SUM\abap\log\SAPup.ECO' for details

I can see problems related to memory and space.
Can you share latest dev_w0 of shadow instance.
Also, can you stop anti virus and other non-sap applications consuming high memory. Plus make sure you have enough space on disk drives.
