Software Requirement for RDS- SAP ERP Foundation.

Hello,

We are in process of deploying the SAP RDS - ERP Foundation for SAUDI AREBIA on our ECC System for our customer.. While going through the Quick Guide we found that the software requirement is mentioned as below

1) SAP ERP Core Component 6.0 (SAP ECC 6.0)

2)SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 Support Package Stack 04 for SAP ERP 6.0 Application Server ABAP (SAP ERP 6.07 SPS06 AS ABAP).

where as our system configuration is as below

SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 7 + HANA Database, with below component details

componenet     Release     SP

SAP_Basis          740          7

SAP_ABAP         740          7

SAP_APPL          617          5

I am still not cleared, what SAP has mentioned in point:2 and whether our system meets that requirement or not.

Please suggest on same.

Hi Ashish,

your post shows that your system is on a higher SP level than the minumim required for implementing the RDS (ABAP 7 instead of 6, APPL 5 instead of 4).

So you can go ahead with the implementation.

Hi Ashish,

Which apps are you planning to implement? Based on that, we can help you identify the correct software requirement.

In general, for all apps, starting Oct,2014, SAP has released Fiori Apps Library using which you can easily identify the exact software requirement at an app levele. Link is below:

But we are not installing/deploying any fiori application..

We are deploying ERP Foundation RDS. and looking software requirement for it.
