Is there a best practice document on using the different SAP GUI client?

We are doing a global deployment of SAP solution and want to find out if we should be using the SAP GUI for HTML instead of the client version as some of the global locations are small. Is there a best practice document on when we should be using a specific GUI client  provided by SAP?

Hello Ramesh,

You might want to have a look at

(Presentation), in particular pages 25 +26.

Ramesh,

In addition to the above, you might have a look at 's blog . Although it's focused on NWBC and not SAPGUI, it touches on a few of the different user interface technologies available and walks you through a decision tree to help choose the most appropriate one.

How about here, Ramesh,

If you intend to use Office Integration, then you really need to use SAPGUI for Windows.

SAPGUI for Java cannot handle Office Integration.

You need to check the attached note for further information.
