PLM - Custom field in AENR

Hello,

I have added a custom field to the AENR (Change Master) table.  When a Change Master is auto created from the PLM system, when a Engineering records gets to a certain status I would like to auto populate this custom field.  Is there a BADI or User-exit where I can do this?

I looked at BADI ECM_UPDATE but it does not allow you to make changes.

Can you please give more details for your question.

1. Where have you created the custom field ? In Change master or Engineering Record.

2. What are the various status your Engineering record is having ? At what status you want this

   field to be populated ?

3. How is Change master created automatically ?

4. have you thie Change master in Engineering Record ?

If its custom field then it cannot be done by standard BADI.
