Text data for the materials,locations and customers

In our DP implementation, we are bringing in all the master and transaction data through the BW extractors. we want the text of the product , location and the customer to be visible in the planning book. normally if we use the 9AMATNR as the info object for the material the default text comes from CIF. In the project we have all Z info objects. I have the following questions:

Could someone please advise if there is any thing apart from the standard functionality, which needs to be done for the reading of the text data for these characteristics in the planning book?

have you also extracted the master data texts into APO?? Or are you having issues only with seeing the text in the planning books?

if you go to RSD1, choose your characteristic and go to the masterdata/ texts tab --> check "with texts" and check "short texts exist"

the loading process would be similar to the extraction of master data, just that the objects it loads to would differ.

when you go to create infosources, choose direct update of masterdata and choose your infoobject

you can create use the same source system and complete the data flow
