Gateway Errors After Removing an Application Server

I removed an application server from one of my systems and now the logs are being spammed with numerous entries from Solution Manager

SAP gateway connection failed. Is SAP gateway started?                  

ABAP Programm: /SDF/SAPLCCMS_TOOLS (Transaction: )

Called function module: SALC_GET_MT_LIST_BY_MTCLASS

User: SM_SMP (Client: 000)

I have re-run managed system config on the system, the retried application server is no longer listed as part of the system.  I have deleted the server from LMDB.  Why is solution manager still trying to hit it?  How do I clear it?

Hi Mary Jane,

How about RFCs, was there any RFC created in solman which was pointing to this application server, instead of using load balancing.

No RFCs to the retired server exist.  I have even deleted this system from LMDB & SMSY and they are still occurring.

Can you try to figure out from the time stamp of the logs in your system, what corresponding process/jobs are running in solman system at that particular time which might be trying to hit  your managed system.
