Could not install SAP Lumira personal addition

I tried to install the Lumira personal addition but I always get an error at the end of extraction stating "Some files could not be created. Please close all application, reboot windows and restart this installation".

I have tried almost everything i know but the issue could not be resolved...

Can someone please help me with this...

Did you turn off spyware, anti-virus?

Could you try running as an administrator on your machine?

Yes I did try the above mentioned points too but it prompted the same error message...

i guess contacting Lumira support is my last resort..

Hi Aditya,

Where did you save your installation .exe file when you ran it? Is it on any type of network or shared drive....or just on your local machine? Also, this error is usually related to Windows blocking that specific application from creating certain files, and definitely can be related to any anti-virus/anti-spyware/malware, administrative rights on that machine, or even firewall on your network.

You will need to narrow this down, since these are the most common causes.

If all the above doesn't apply and you have double checked everything I would suggest re-downloading the setup.exe as there's also a chance it could be a corrupt downloaded file.

Thanks a lot Khuram....

The problem was of the setup being on the shared drive....
