Email action on "Implemented" status in ZMCR

Calling all CHARM experts !

did anyone have this problem or it's just me ?

I configured email function to send email to requester when ZMCR gets in status "Implemented".

This status is set automatically when ZMHF (as example) is Imported to PROD.

Status sync works fine and email from ZMCR Implemented status is triggered...

The problem is that this status triggers 5 (FIVE) identical emails to the requester - to same recipient, at the same moment with same content.

I tried different variations of merging conditions, processing time and schedule/start conditions.

Found out that this status is probably very different from "normal" statuses, i.e. it does not react on Start conditions at all (just ignores it), but schedule condition actually behaves like Start condition in any other "Normal" email action.

so my current setup is this:

start condition is empty.

Any help, hints would be much appreciated.

Hi Elena,

Sometimes you need to refresh all steps, then only you settings take place.

do this:

  1. Go to TC SPPFDETCRM choose ZMCR.
  2. Print screen your start / schedule conditions for Email.
  3. Now delete all conditions, save and exit.
  4. next change your Email actions settings:
    • Try to change action merging to "Max. 1 Action for Each Action Definition".
    • or make Set Highest Number of Processed Actions and set in Action Merging  - Max. 1 Successful Actions(s)
  5. save changes, go to SPPFDETCRM again and set back start / schedule conditions for your Email notification.
  6. Test again.

Thank you so much, it now works and sends only one email and it also respects the Start Condition.
