Hi ,

I am new to TDMS, Could you please clarify on the below.

1) Can we use existing Solman as a TDMS central system? does any additional hardware is required for configuration of TDMS in solman?

2) Can we install TDMS as an independent system? and what will be the procedure for the same.

Hi Arpit,

1. We can use existing Solman system as TDMS central system. You would just need to install the

related software components DMIS and DMIS_CNT in the system along with the source and targets systems.

2. An independent system can also be used as a TDMS central system. Just that you would need to

install the required software components for TDMS.

Another important point would be to make sure to implement the mandatory notes depending on

the SP level of DMIS /DMIS_CNT installed in the system.

Hi Rajesh,

Thanks for your reply, Just wanted to know if there any additional hardware is required if we put Above add'ons into Solman as I can see there is sizing guide is also available at market place.
