secure connection

Hi,

I start giving the firts steps on Information Design Tool and i created a connection.

My question is a simple one: How can publish it as a secure connection? What distinguish the secure? In what moment IDT considers the connection secure?

Hi,

We create the connections under repository resources so it will be secured in repository.

When publishing the connection to repository(CMS), A message will appear like " Do you want to create a shortcut", This shortcut will be placed in the local projects area that is above to Repository resources.

The local projects area is used for creating and editing all resources (except secured connections and security profiles)

In the repository resource area you’ll find universes and connections that have been secured

in a repository on the SAP BusinessObjects Central Management System.
