Hi guys,
Have 2 questions:
Kind regards,
Martim.
Hello Martim,
sorry, it is not supported, since there is no logging of the events through which we can track any errors.
However, as long as you use the installation server to recreate install files, and then convert to .msi, we support any errors that may arise from the installation server phase.
Hope this clarifies.

Hi Jude!
Thanks for your quick response, i really appreciate it.
Client sent us an email that they'll want to use SCCM to distribute the package and i found a document with a clear walk-through, but just as a future consideration, how can you convert a package created with GUI Installation Server into an .msi file?
Kind regards,
Martim.
There is an option to create single-file installers which create a .exe file. After this you need to use 3rd party tools to convert to an .msi format.
We would ADVISE AGAINST using other installation programs to install the Sapgui without SapSetup. 'Repacking' the software frontend into other installation programs may cause unforeseen problems and we will be unable to provide support if you experience such problems.
This also applies to those tools based on MSI, SMS Installer, Win install, Tivoli and so on. The option to start Sapsetup from the corresponding tools exists for all of these tools and you should use this option.
For this reason,SAP does not deliver an MSI file containing the installation information for SAP frontend software.
Hope this clarifies somewhat.
Jude
