after upgrade con2 running too long

Dear experts,

I am upgraded our sap system ( copy of production server into test and then upgrade it) from EHP4 /oacle 10g to EHP7 / oracle 11g

we are facing an issue when we run CON2 transaction only in production order  which is took 3 to 4 minutes in Production server but taken 40 minutes in EHP7 upgraded test system and then work process time out dump ( because I set work process time out 40 min ) .

sm50 show

I generated

1. sgen

2. through db13 tablespace statistics etc

but unable to find what is the issue.

Please guide me

Thanks all for helping me.

major issue is table afko because it will read 73472 but with 4 minutes it's read just 185 record.

I rebuild index through report RSANAORA  but no luck ( screen sm50 )

You can use the transaction ST12 trace to check the ABAP & DB usage in case it required to create the new index with different fields?

Try generating indexes using Se11 and update them using database utilities as stated in similarly in below KBA.

Hi Shahid,

Did you check what query is being executed before it throws dump ?

Also, can you share the dump once, with see if below is what note is suitable.

As issue could be related with Oracle cost-based-optimizer ,so if possible try to share DB stats results.Additionally follow SCN doc Update Statistics for the Cost-Based Optimizer in CCMS (Oracle) - CCMS: Oracle - SAP Library
