Hi experts,

We are doing an upgrading the level from 02 to 03 of basis package SAPKB73101. While doing the upgrade , at the step SPDD_SPAU_CHECK it is checking a long time. We have already given the upgrade yesterday evening, but still now it is showing the phase "SPDD_SPAU_CHECK is being executed".

I have already checked in Google, but i didn't get an actual result. Can any one say why it is taking so much time??

Please consider this as a critical issue, Please Help.

Awaiting your earliest replies,

Praveen

Hi Experts,

After some time, the spam upgrade has been successfully completed. The issue was there beacuse there was no space in device. Then we extended the device space.

After half an hour, the upgrade have been completed.

Thanks to all .

Regards

Praveen

Hi Praveen,

While updating package these phases are taking long time as DDIC_ACTIVATION, Main import and SPDD_SPAU_CHECK

further issue happens then you check logs as per divyanshu suggest

Hi Praveen,

I have seen you updating only BASIS component from 02 to 03 and for which there are many posts.

As asked you before, why don't you simply update support pack stack of your system from SPS 02 to SPS 03 ?

And if you have issues, check the logs 1st and see what it says.

Look under /usr/sap/trans/log and tmp. Check for time stamps and error.

Also, what about files system space, DB and other logs ?
