Planning through down times on resource in PP/DS

Hi

In detailed scheduling planning board  planned downtime that this downtime should be light grey rather than dark grey and allow a production run to continue through it (but extend the time on the run to take into account the downtime) For resource inactive the production should not plan through this

However for both types of downtime, the planning board will not allow planning through.

we have to work around using Infinite Scheduling which allows you to do pretty much what you like, but can cause issues as it allows you to plan an order to start before the previous one finished.

What I would like to know is whether the downtime's can be configured one way or another so that planning can continue through the downtime?

Please can any one let me know if we can plan through down times
