Move backup virtual machine

Hello!

Need move backup virtual machine (VMware) systems SAP (two landscapes and Solution manager).

Network will be other.

Processor type is the same.

Will be enough change and verify next parameters:

• hosts file;
• RFC connection;
• Check tr. SM51 and reset buffer transformations names;
• Check Logon Group (tr. SMLG);
• Check Java.

Is this all or something need else?

You want to move the three SAP VM systems to different physical machine ?

I think you can use the VMware Vsphere Vmotion. Kindly refer the SAP solutions on VMware

Yes, but they more than three ) Thanks for guide, but he not explain what settings I must change in SAP system if changed IP address.

Hi

All VM are having a single file you can do normal copy from one to another physical machine and then play the VM. same think told by VM administrator

You can try any one of the system in the private environment check the SAP system without changing the host name

The quick answer is to perform a Homogeneous system copy.

But Homogeneous copy can take more time. And  why do it, if I have image virtual machine and can transfer her to another server and only do some settings?! It is more easy and faster way, but I not sure that is all setting what i will must change
