Service Order to be completed in FIFO sequence

Hi All,

I am working on a requirement in Service Manager application. The requirement is to start the SO in FIFO sequence.

That means the SO whose start time is earliest should be the first one to get started .. it may or may not be the last one to completed a this can be kept on hold too.

Can anyone suggest me a rule on this please?

Neha,

You should be able to write a rule that will do a collection_min to find the SO with earliest start date that is in the appropriate status based on your business requirements.

Once you know what SO is next in the FIFO list you can target it to be started next.

I will try this , I was using the collection_min property but  may be I was creating the reference incorrectly. I shall check and get back .
