Error : Query Templates

hi all,

In Query Templates(SQL and TAG), while selecting server name, its not displaying "modes" for it.

In Java console it is showing error as

<b>ERROR - Server is currently disabled (IDBC).

ERROR - The execution mode (CurrentWrite) is not supported with this Server or Content-Type.</b>

The connection is enabled in xMII. And i have also checked the connection status and it is showing success.

Where can i check the status for IDBC server?

Please help me

What happens when you use the URL, modify for your data server.

http://localhost/Lighthammer/Illuminator?Connector=&Server=Simulator&Service=&Mode=ModeList

What are you connecting to? Please include the version too.

Hi,

While executing the given URL, I am getting the modes succesfully for both Tag and SQL.

I am trying to connect to Oracle 9i. xMII Server is 11.5.1 b54

Make sure the role you are in has access to the data server. This can be found under Security Services - Data Access.

In Data Access, i have already given rights for Administrators, Developers and Everyone.

Still no luck

Close all IE windows and then open the xMII menu. Under Log Management choose Applet Debug and check both boxes and open the java console. Now open the template editor and reproduce the issue. Copy the contents of the java console and paste them into the thread.

Muzammil,

In \Lighthammer\Illuminator\Templates\Predefined you will find ModeListQuery.xml.

Open this file with a text editor, it should read

<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE TagQuery SYSTEM "http://localhost/Illuminator/DTD/TagQuery.dtd"><TagQuery SaveDate="05/30/2000 15:40:14" Version="8.0" Mode="ModeList" RowCount="250"/>

Modify this, making sure you have the correct mode, and then restart the servletexec service. All of the templates in the Predefined folder are system templates and should not be modified.
