How to update existing quants with SUT information

Hi,

This query is related to 'SUT check Active' for storage type in WM.

Presently , we have 5 storage type out of which only 1 storage type is having SUT check active.

Now there is a requirement to make the SUT check active for all the storage types.

But the issue is , there are already stocks(quants) in these storage types in which no SUT information is avaliable.

So If we make the SUT check active now in between, there will be errors while TO creations as quants are not with SUT information.

Would like to know , is there any standard program/ tcode which can be used so that the existing quants can be updated with SUT information.

or there are any better suggestions on this.

In the standard SAP there is no any standard program / T-code which update the SUT information.

1) You are supposed to remove the stock/ Quant from the storage type (transfer to another storage type / bin e.g. storage type 999)

2) Complete the configuration activity

3) Make sure that other depended customization activity is also completed (eg. SUT check in strategy)

Transfer the stock back to the storage type (if required)

Make sure that during the above activity there is no Putawy or Picking TO generation activity are taking place it will lead to inconsistency
