budget check in production order

Hi Gurus,

  i have created project and maintained budget also...

   for example:    i have given budget for wbs element below. 

Budget	Actual	Assigned	Available
100	30	30	40

i have created Purchase order for rs.60 then i received rs.30 available budget is rs.40.

Then i am creating Production order it's asking budget. it's through error message for budget.

i have doubt in production order why it's checking in available budget. if we create production order when budget has to be consume whether it is production order creation time or confirmation time.

please suggest.....

Hi Siddhu,

AVAC check is done at the point of confirmation (actual value eg transaction CO11N/CO15). SAP note 178837 offers good explanation how the AVAC is triggered (as the result of increase in Assigned value).

Hi Siddu,

As per the example provided

Budget  Actual  Assigned   Available

100         30           30          40

if PO of Rs 60 is created with reference to the PR then

Budget  Actual  Assigned   Available

100          30          60          10

if Production Order  value is more than 10 then the system will through an error.

if Account Assignment for the Production Order is WBS then system will check the availability control.

i have created purchase order with acc.assign is Q of rs.60. then i received stock for of rs.50.

Budget     actual      assigned      available

100           50               10             40

Then i am trying to create production order of rs. 50, it's checking budget.

so i don't want check budget when i am creating production order...

please suggest....

Can you explain you example more in detail. ?

What is the value of production order are you trying to create.?

Well the budget availability checks during the creation of the production order itself. similar behavior when you create purchase order.

Your setting budget tolerance limits for the budget profile would have been set to ++ in activity control grp field, which means it checks all the documents for budget availability.
