Unable to Generate Enrollment Code for Android device(Afaria)

Hello experts,

I am using SAP Afaria Free Trial cloud version of 30 days.

I have downloaded the Afaria client in android device.But it is asking for an enrollment code.

I am not able to access this site http://mtc71.sapvcm.com/404.html.

Also, I am referring http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25736 for generating enrollment codes.

But I am not able to view the enrollment services in trial admin portal.

Please help.

Dear Bino,

You need to create an Enrollment Policy for Android. Within the Enrollment policy at the bottom there is a + button with which you can create an enrollment code. Under the enrollment policy on the Groups Tab (on the left) you can link the enrollment policy to the group. Save the enrollment policy and use the enrollment code within the Android Client.

Hello Bino,

May I know the Afaria Instance version you are using?  Is it Afaria 6.6 or 7? Also, is your instance On-Cloud or On-Premise?

For On-Cloud instance -

This is to inform you that if you are using Mobile Secure Portal admin console, you should be using Mobile Place to enroll the devices. So, you cannot view the "Enrollment" in the Policy tab of admin console. You will have "System defined: Enrollment policies" for all types of OS(iOS, Android, windows).

From the portal you have to select Devices>Administration, It will take you to the admin portal.
