PI 7.31 Java only - Payload not accessible after some days

Hello PI Experts,

we have a problem with the Payload access of our messages on SAP PI 7.31 Java Only.

If you open a some days old message in PI Adapter Engine Message Monitor, you can not see the payload anymore.

Which configuration should we set to access the messages and payloads 14 days after processing in PI Message-Monitor?

After 14 days the complete message should be archived and not accessible via Message Monitor anymore.

Hi Joern,

If you want to persist messages for defined days set the below properties in NWA.

Goto NWA->Configuration->Infrastructure->Java System properties->Services

Service Name: XPI Adapter: XI

Property Name: I) xiadapter.inbound.persistDuration.default

                          II)xiadapter.outbound.persistDuration.default

thank you for the hint.

It seems that this answer is related to my second question "After 14 days the complete message should be archived and not accessible via Message Monitor anymore.".

Do you know which configuration should be set, that the payload will be visible for 14 days after message processing? It seems that there is a default configuration which will delete the payload after some days but the message is still visible.

Hi,

I believe you need to set the Logging & Staging options to enable the payload..
