Stack file generation for SAP SRM7.0 with SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0

Hello,

I am doing the upgrade for SRM system from SAP SRM7.0 with SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 to EHP2 FOR SAP SRM 7.0.

This is a MCOD system. Abap and Java has been installed in the same server and connected to same database server.

For Abab system, the stack file has been generated to upgrade Netweaver components 7.31. But for java system, the stack file generated only to upgrade SRM components but not Netweaver components.

I have attached the snap for LMDB and Mopz screen for your reference.

As per screenshot, you can see only the SRM upgraded to EHP2 but not SAP Netweaver components.

Kindly help me to generate stack xml for Java system to upgrade both SRM and Netweaver.

You Can try with This option Anand ! This worked for me. This is because of Minimum Support pack feature introduced in MOPZ , EDIT technical System in LMDB and Set Upgrade Strategy for Java as SIDECAR.

Hello All,

Thanks for your response. I have got the solution from SAP meanwhile

you have upgraded the SRM ABAP Abap system to EHP2 SRM 7.0

which comes with NetWeaver 7.03 (components are on 7.31 release) which

is correct.

As for the SRM JAVA system, you have also updated the SRM components to

EHP2 SRM 7.0 with NetWeaver layer remained at 7.01.

This is fine and consistent as there are alternatives for NetWeaver

layer with multiple versions supported.

You may update the Java system NetWeaver layer to higher release if required

by creating MOPZ transaction for Java system under NetWeaver product version.

What are the steps you did in LMDB? Re-check your LMDB configuration -> If using Solution Manager 7.1

Your screen shows system type JAVA.....instead ABAP + JAVA.

1. Your SRM system component level information's are updated in the solution manager?

     What is the version you solution manager?

2. Could you refer the SAP Note for your target release
