ORA-00936: missing expression during SDB_MONITORING_DATA_AUTO_ACTIONS job execution

Dear Experts,

In our ERP 6.0 EHP5 on oracle system i have noticed ORA-00936: missing expression in SM21 logs during standard

job SDB_MONITORING_DATA_AUTO_ACTIONS running.

Hi,

it is very easy.

You go to

http://service.sap.com/notes

you enter in the search key the word:

SDB_MONITORING_DATA_AUTO_ACTIONS

then you enter in the application area

bc-db-ora*

and press the button "search".

What do you get?

a note, only one, nothing more that reads like

Job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR gives ORA-00936 error

I would say it is a very good match for your issue.

Do you see?

it is not so difficult to try a little BEFORE

Please, check the SCN RULES OF ENGAGEMENT point 3 is the interesting one for you, but read all others.

Dear Fidel,

Already checked with note 1902321 - Job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR gives ORA-

00936 error but it refers to

Environment

• Oracle 11.2.0.3
• LINUX
• SAP EHP2 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0

but our system is on HP-UX.

Kindly suggest on this.

Have you tried the solution.

you might find out that it works (I do not have HPUX to test)

if it works you open an incient at SAP communicate that the note needs to be updated.
