Key date in the Insp.Specificaitons tab automatically changes to a previous date

Hi All,

I am trying to release an inspection lot for a material which has an active inspection plan created in the system -When I go to QA32 and click on the "Task list/Spec" tab I get a message saying " No inspection plan could be found" and when I press OK the Key date automatically changes from today's date to a random date in September .

I checked the plan and the dates over there looks OK.Is there some other dates I am supposed to be looking at ?

It comes from change master because the material has 'revision level'.

Please check the valid start date at transaction CC13.

This seems to be the issue-the materials had a backdated validity date in CC13 that was causing the issue.

Hello Karthik,

Please check the following points:

• Usage is the same in the plan and in the inspection lot
• Status of the plan is released.
• Inspection plan validity date is before key date in the inspection lot, otherwise, you have to change the date manually in the lot to match the plan date before you click on the button Task List/Spec.

Hi,

Please check the maximum lot size of the inspection plan.  It should be larger than the inspection lot quantity.
