Issue with content in SPROXY

Hi Experts,

I have a proxy to IDOC scenario where we are using standard ESB provided by SAP. The ESB is installed in source ECC and XI content is installed in PI.

Now When we are using the standard content, we have a requirement to add extra fields. So I have created Data Type Enhancement. Now when I go back to ECC SPROXY for to activate the standarad proxy, The new Data Type Enhancement I have created in PI, are not showing. And whatever the changes I do in the SWCV are not reflecting in SPROXY.

Any Ideas?

Where did you created it.

AFAIK - You should create them under your own swcv but not under standard swcv.

Oh.. Sorry, I have created in standard SWCV. So if I create in my own SWCV, do we still need to re-activate the standard proxy or the changes will be taken automatically?

Generate Enhanced data type, not the proxy.

I totally missed that part. I have created the objects in custom SWCV and now I can see the fields and test successfully.

Hi,

Your Data Type Enhancement should be in a different SWCV, not in the same.

Go thoroughly the steps mentioned in the below discussion:
