Installing BW - HANA: Error: sdbrun: undefined symbol: PL_charclass

Hello,

During the installation of BW in passing creating HANA Client had the following error.

"shared libraries: libperl.so: can not open shared object file: No such file or directory"

To try to fix the problem I added the document /etc/ld.so.conf the following line:

/usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/CORE

Then I ran the following command: "ldconfig"

Now the error I have is: Execute command:/home/admin/Desktop/mediabo/SAP_HANA_Platf.Edit.1.0_SPS07_Rev_74_Client/DATA_UNITS/HDB_CLIENT_LINUX_X86_64/hdbinst --batch --sid -a client = CBP --path = / usr / sap / CBP / hdbclient

/home/admin/Desktop/mediabo/SAP_HANA_Platf.Edit.1.0_SPS07_Rev_74_Client/DATA_UNITS/HDB_CLIENT_LINUX_X86_64/instruntime/sdbrun: symbol lookup error:/home/admin/Desktop/mediabo/SAP_HANA_Platf.Edit.1.0_SPS07_Rev_74_Client/DATA_UNITS/HDB_CLIENT_LINUX_X86_64/instruntime/sdbrun: undefined symbol: PL_charclass

The OS is SuSE Linux x86_64 3.0.76-0.11

Please your help to solve the problem.

Hi Jose ,

Looks like this library file is missing .

So we can get this installed  and try again the installation .
