Availability check for sales order

Hi,

In our sales order, we create automatically a purchase requisition.

Our customer need to create a purchase order after checking stocks, and create a purchase order only for the quantity remaining in stock.

For example, if we have 10 UN in stock, and the customer order 20, the system must reserve 10 UN to this order and create automatically a purchase order for 10 remains.

it's possible ?

Hi,

if you want material in a single sales item to be partially allocated by ATP check while the rest to be included via a purchase requisition, I am afraid it is not possible, since, if to do ATP check, you have to make sure this flag is checked for the schedule line category, and if that is checked, you are not allowed to enter purchase order type, item category or account assignment category in the same schedule line category

Hi Omar,

    Your case is like IPO process In IPO process we don't deliver the goods from unrestricted stock once we raise po to vendor for 10 quantity that stock assigns to that particular sales order number after doing MIGO. while doing delivery system considers that sales order stock.

    According to your requirement you can proceed in this way, In item category determination maintain manual Item category TAB below TAN. Create two sales orders in first order enter quantity 10 and in second order change Item category from TAN to TAB so that system generates pr then you raise po for 10 qty.
