Access Control List (ACL) to control PS Reports

PS Gurus,

I have activated Access Control List for a PS Project Profile.

It is working for the respective project and restricting the structural elements by marking them 'red'.

However, the users who do not have access/ have restricted access for that project are still able to see the financial and scheduling data for each project element via all the project reports (i.e. "S_" & "CN or "CJ" reports).

Is this a standard behaviour or I am missing anything here?

If I need to restrict the project reports against each project, what would be the best solution?

Thanks in advance.

Bhushan

Hi Varshal,

Thank you very much for pointing me to the above notes.

We applied note 1960634 (referred in one of the above note) and the ACL seems to be working for reports!

Sincerely appreciate your response.

Regards,

Bhushan

Hi,

Basically when you activated ACL in project profile then what object come underneath PD those are to be display in RED colour. its standard behavior of sap.

& once you deactivated ACL by CNACLD trnsaction then user will able to see report and other stuff.

as you said you want to restricted some data by report and other tcode then check authorization object by SU24 transaction according to your business requirement and add them to user's roll by basis consultant or by PFCG transaction if you have authorization to maintain those.
