Manufacturer parts tab not saving any data

Hi, I am trying to create a material in PLM wbe UI. In the manufacturing tab when i enter the values like MPN material, Manufacturer part number, Manufacturer and save the data doesnt get saved. System doesnt even identify this data. System will say no data changed, hence once i close the window the data is gone

Hi,

this tab is not intended to maintain any data. It can display manufacturer parts information maintained elsewhere, see related documentation here:

Manufacturer Parts - Web User Interface of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM-WUI) - SAP Library

This view has its own Customizing, because different companies maintain manufacturer part information in different places.

If your screen is open for entries - you must have an incorrect configuration.
