Shortcut FO planning

Hi experts,

For those out there that have configured shortcut FO planning, does shortcut planning functionality assign a vehicle resource to the FO? I have set up this scenario, and the FO is created and carrier selection is executed correctly, but no vehicle resource is assigned...

Can someone provide their expertise?

Hi Stanford,

there is no automatic vehicle assignment to shortcut freight orders. I guess you have set up the automatic carrier selection via standard carrier selection creation strategy. So in a project you could write/create your own custom strategy including a logic on how to determine default vehilce for shortcut FOs and assigne it to your short cut FO doc-type.
