copy configurations for sales BOM from contract to sales order

Dears,

   i have sales BOM items in which both main item and sub items are configurable. i enter the item in sales contract and enter configuration for both levels. when i create sales order with reference to contract, only main item configurations are copied, and sub item configurations are blank. could any one help me in this regard?

please have a check against the copy control at item level for that item category in sales contract

i put "B" in configuration field (in copy control, item level). it copies configuration but it cannot be change in sales order form. however i need to change it. when i put "A" in configuration field, it doesn't copy configuration again.
