Not able to See Message section in SUS PO

Dear Experts,

We are implementing MM-SUS scenario our Version is SRM 7 and EHP 3 ....

We are able to replicate pos in SUS. but we are not able to see message section in portal both at item as well as header level.

We are sending text message from SAP R3 which i can see in XML but i'm not able to see in Purchase order  in section MESSAGE FROM PURCHASER ..

Also when we create response to the PO its also not allowing to message to purchaser.

Please advice.

Hi Sanjeev,

Please firstly check whether your system has already the following notes, and also check the KBAs for some more information of text in SUS.

Note:

1906435 - Message to purchasers is not displayed

1980408 - Message to purchaser is not visible in the order repsonse

KBA:

1760790 - Overview: attachment and text support in SUS

1729627 - Message to Purchaser in SUS confirmation is not transferred to ECC

1957237 - Message from/to Purchaser is Not Displayed in Communication and Collaboration o

It is really helpful information.

Before this i already went through from KBA 1957237 and KBA 1760790.

I have configured as per kba and i'm able to see the Message to purchaser in confirmation,

But still i'm not able to see the MESSAGE FROM and MESSAGE TO PURCHASER in Purchase order header as well as Item level . it will be appreciated if you can help me on this.

Hi Sanjeev,

So you have already defined text schema for SUPO at both header and item level?
Could you please show me with a screenshot?

And switch SRM_701_SUCO_TEXT_TRANSFER is also activated?

What is the support package level of your SRM 713?
Please make sure both notes 1906435 and 1980408 are included/implemented.

Yes i already maintained text schema for SUPO

Ya and also SRM_701_SUCO_TEXT_TRANSFER also activated.

I have checked the notes which you have provided but its already in our support pack and cant be implemented.

Our support pack as shown in screenshot.

I'm not getting why I'm not able to view  message from purchaser in  Purchase order in SUS portal even though its maintained in text schema

.

Hi Sanjeev,

Could you please also show me your text mapping customizing in spro "Text Mapping for Inbound and Outbound Texts" for PO, that is between BUS2012 and SUPO?

In addition, please change the field "Changable" in your text schema to "Cannot be changed" for "Message from purchaser" of SUPO.

For the SUS purchase order, all texts from purchaser to supplier are not changeable, by none of the users. These are display only texts and the customizing should be set accordingly.

Thank you for your help and advice till now it’s really helped us lot.

Unfortunately still my issue is not resolved, even though mapping are correctly defined as shown in screenshot .

still we are not able to see message from purchaser at header as well as item level.

Also I have one question

question 1.  is it mandatory to to configure mapping ??? i

Hi Sanjeev

How about the "changeable" setting of the text schema I mentioned earlier? Have you followed it as well?

If you don't set mappings, system would not know how to map the text purchaser entered in erp po to sus po.

Ya i followed as you said.

For SUPO header and item both text schema i changed to CANNOT BE CHANGE...

Still the result is same.

Hi Sanjeev,

according to your screenshot you have configured BUS2012 for external object type in the text mapping table, please change this to BUS2230.
