Questions regarding ItCa (ZMTO) and how to invoice

Hi,

We have some problems when sending a quote that has zmto in ItCa (item category). After it has been sent and order confirmation later after an order, we can't send an invoice and receive an error when trying to. Usually we set it at zmtm but sometimes we forget to do it.

So, as to my understanding, behind zmto there is a date that says when the outbound will be approved or completed, I'm pretty new when it comes to SAP. Can we see in some way on what date we can invoice? If we're in a hurry, can we change the item category after we have made an order confirmation / outbound?

What is the flow in SAP?

quotation > sales order > delivery > PGI > billing ?

what do you mean by can't sent an invoice? please explain this business process, in detail.

paste the screenshot of the error.
