Metadata Table for finding the Joins in Views

Hi all ,

Two Questions

1) I have to find the joins associated with the VDM,s Which metadata table i can get the information of joins in SAP HANA?

2) I want to copy all the views into a customer work space( say 1000+ views ) , What are the possibilities of copying it in a go to the workspace . ?

Hello harish nair,

If you want to find the joins associated with the VDMs, I will recommend you to use the SAP HANA Live Browser. After installation you can get access with URL as below:

http://<HANA host>:80<HANA Instance>/sap/hba/explorer

In this tool, you can easily find the joins with the VDMs, with the "Open Cross Reference" function. Both tree view or graph view will be available, from the top VDM to the physical tables.

And if you want to copy HANA Live views into customer workspace, you can use the mass copy function from HANA Studio. And Configuration Guide H37 describes this if you need more details.
