statutory auditors observations on storage location.

Hi Gurus,

I am new to SAP and placed in support role with my little knowledge in SAP SD.

Our company statutory auditors have observed that whenever we occupy a storage location/godown, a query sheet should be raised in the system for its details like godown license, godown agreement, warehousing license details, insurance and approval reference for occupying the godown.

Would you pl explain where we can maintain these details for a storage location and if so can we make them mandatory.

As I understand, I see don't there are any standard fields for following in SAP ECC.


  • godown license,
  • godown agreement,
  • warehousing license details,
  • insurance and
  • approval reference for occupying the godown

You might need to use Ztable to store this values or recognise some fields SLoc configuration, where alternatively can be used those fields in SAP. So that you can pull these values in respective reports or outputs.
