Pls find the screenshot of both the screens.

While i checked the OSS tcode from my system, that also showing the following error.

Kindly Help. Awaiting ur earliest replies

Modify "services" file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc) with following line

sapmscss 36XX/tcp

where XX is the instance of your message server (you can check it with transaction smms)

Hi Praveen,

You can check telnet by the following command in command prompt

telnet <hostname/ip> <port>

Also check the service file at the location drivers/etc/services, open this in wordpad and search sapms.

Is the saprouter service running on your machine?

let us know!!!

Hi Praveen,

Your error text says "service sapmscss unknown"

Please check if you have added sap server entry in your host file (driver/etc/hosts.txt).

Also check services file for any duplicate entries for sapms<SID>

If the SAProuter is not running then first get it fixed before you do anything else. Check the dev_rout trace file.

If the saprouter fails to start then you should check the above log to understand why it failed to start. If you are setting up a new saprouter then you need to make sure the IP address of the server where the saprouter is running is registered with SAP.

ports can be checked with telnet.

To make sure this RFC works, saprouter should be running and port 3299 should be open.
