Hi ,

We have installed a new ECC system and while running update stats  it does not complete fully. It gets killed automatically in between.

That "Killed" word in the log makes me feel someone is running the brconnect from the OS level and terminating it for a reason only known to him. The BR*Tools is quite old and you should consider updating it.

Hi Padmini,

Check the table on which its getting hang.

Then run the stats on that particular table then go ahead with the all the table.

Moreover you can set the environment variable BR_TRACE = 15 and then run the brtools , it will then record the reason for handing.

With Regards

Hi,

for starters, I would upgrade your "BR*Tools" version (not that has anything to do with this but it is quite "ancient" version

BRCONNECT 7.00 (40)

the "killed" part seems to point to an external "something" killing the process.

The trace mentioned by Ashutosh might be also a good idea.

Would be interesting to know also how do you schedule or execute it and what command do you use
