Japanese fonts corrupted when sent out from SOST

We are trying to send out Vendor Correspondence forms. The output looks good in SP01 or SOST but the Japanese fonts look corrupted when they go out as fax or email or even when printed. Hash symbol is printed instead of the Japanese characters. Please advice on how I can debug this this.

Hello,

The device type is important here.
Please use the SWINCF or JPSAPWIN when creating spools and also in SOST for corresponding language.

SCOT-> Settings-> Device Types for Format Converstion.

How did you send ? manually or auto system configuration. What a country language set by default on company code level?
