Hi experts !
As per SAP Support Portal, to use OpenPS we need the following software units:
Available Installation and upgrade in the SAP download center are: Open PS for Microsoft Project 2.02 and Open PS for Microsoft Project 4.0
What should I do to install OpenPS, if my Microsoft Project version is 10 and I have Windows 8 in my PC?
Should I go back to old versions?
I will appreciate your recommendations.
Regards,
Rafael
Hi,
As of OPENPS 4.0 SP04, the following are the true statements:
Reference SAP Note: 1681703 (Copied for Quick Reference)
1) Open PS 4.0 SP04 supports the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system (32-bit and 64-bit).
2) Open PS 4.0 SP04 supports MS Project 2010 (32-bit).
Note: This interface does not support MS Project 2010 (64-bit).
For the full list of software specifications supported by OpenPS 4.0 for Microsoft Project please refer to the Open PS FAQ note 1332046.
3) When you install Open PS 4.0 in Windows 7, the following Microsoft support packs are recommended (by Microsoft) for the corresponding MS Project versions:
MS Project 2003: SP03 and above
MS Project 2007: SP02 and above
MS Project 2010: SP01 and above
Note: Without these support packs, Open PS will not work as expected.
4) When you install Open PS 4.0 in Windows 7, the following SAP GUI version is recommended: Release 720 patch level 10 and above.
Also please read thru http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1332046
As of now there is no mention about the support for Windows 8. Hence Windows 7 (32 and 64 Bit) is the OS that you should be looking for.
Rest MSP 2010 (32 bit) is supported.
Hope it helps!
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Rafael,
Open PS is supported till Windows 7 only for the moment. Project for
Windows 8 OS is not started yet.
I regret to inform you that the function you require is not included in
the SAP standard system.
If you want to work with SAP on future product functions, we recommend
that you do so by working in an SAP user group, or by working in one of
