No switch to HTTPS occured - tricky

Hey Guys!

I have SAP Solution Manager installed on HostA.

And I have set up FQDN to: domain.com

So my SAPLOCALHOST is:

HostA.domain.com

But I don't want to publish any service at that URL. I want to change it to:

service.domain.com

So I maintained profile parameter icm/host_name_full to service.domain.com.

And now, when I'm trying to connect to my website I'm getting information No switch to HTTPS occured.

If I connect with HostA.domain.com - it's working correctly (it's switching to HTTPS).

What configuration am I missing?

Hello Xoho,

This is an ICF rather than an ITS issue. I presume you get this issue when calling any SAP Web based service from the "service.domain.com"

See the following BC-MID-ICF-LGN notes:

2005571  Warnings when you logon to SAP ABAP system via HTTP

1979522  Incorrect warning - No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a

1590454  ICF system logon, error message is displayed twice

If you goto transaction: SMICM and choose 'Goto' -> 'Services'

What status do you have here for HTTP and HTTPS hosts and ports.
