Hard copy using Customize Local Layout is blurry for Xerox printer

When using the hard copy functionality in SAP GUI from Customize Local Layout the printout is blurry with printer Xerox Workcenter 5890.

I've read notes and other SCN discussions about Xerox printers but this is not really using SAP printing (or is it?) so no need to install drivers or device types, my understanding is that using Hard Copy will only create a screenshot and send it to the default printer.

Is this something that needs to be fixed from the printer or from SAP GUI settings?

Hello,

Yes the hardcopy is simply create a screenshot at SAPGUI level and send to Windows default printer,
SAP does not reformat the content itself so you do not have to concern about the device type.

You can take a test, create a dummy printer at your Windows and set it as default,
if it is clear then it should be a printer specific issue rather than SAP.
You can use the Windows XPS printer or file printer like mentioned in SAP note 576973.
