Sales area Z001 01 OC is not defined, error at the time of creating credit limits

Hi ,

when I creating credit limits to customers (FD32) system throwing  error sales area Z001 01 OC is not defined,

it means I have many sales organizations in my SAP client, but I am defining
credit management only one Sales organization.

when I maintaining credit limits to customers system started checking other
sales area asking to define sales are where not relevant.

but same customers exist in other sales area also.

if I remove OVAK configaration then system will allow me to create credit limits which is not correct.

can some body help me on this.

I never seen this message during Credit master creation( FD32). Here Sales area is nothing to do with FD32. Can you share the error message

Hi Srinu,

I got the issue, but i don't have solution right now,

reason is I have same customer exist in different company codes and with different
division.

when I maintain FD32 records system started checking all sales orders for
that customer , here is the issue,

it is not limiting only the credit control area where I have assigned.

now I need to check some user exits in FD32, I am not sure which user exit will
work.

If the customer is doing business with other business units( other sales area's which are not relevant to your credit control area which is assigned to your payer customer in FD32)

Obviously that sales values should be considered to into FD32 so why are you saying that is also being considered into FD32?

Credit control area is at company code level, so if the company code is same for Z005 01 ZO and  Z001 01 OC then you have to assign the CCA to both of these sales areas, considering you have transactions from both of these sales areas.

It seems, the customer has not been extended to sales area  Z001 01 OC.  Recheck in XD02 / XD03

system is checking other sales area it is not relevent at all.
