requirement in periodic billing plan

Dear Team,

we have a business requirements when a contract is created with billing plan at item level ,

the billing is done monthly in advance,

first billing should be on the contract start date and

next billings should be first of every month.

EX:-

the contract start date is 15/10/2014

billing plan for first month it is taking as 01/10/2014 ,

but it should take the contract start date (15/10/2014) as first billing date and

the next billing date should be first of next month 01/11/2014, 01/12/2014....

Is there any standard config to achieve this functionality.

Check in OVBJ where you would have assigned what date should system should fetch to your Billing Plan Type.  Also check what Baseline date is maintained, which you can see in OVBS

the setting what i maintained are here, with this my requirement is not fulfilled.

i tried the possible combinations but not successful.

Share the screen shot of your Contract Billing Plan tab for that line item

In this i am getting monthly first but amount is splitting but i need same amount for every month even though contract starts at any day of the month.

in this case i am getting monthly equal amount but the date it is talking not first of every month.

If you change the billing date manually from 01.11 to 07.11, what is the bill value?

Rajasekhar,

Change the billing plan start date as 1st of contract start month. in your case 01.11, and make the next change to billing date in first line as 07.11.
