Same technical system to be registered for different business systems in SLD

Hi Experts,

In one of the integration scenario I am working, I am connecting two SAP ECC system via PI.

SAP ECC 1 has got 3 systems in landscape - say,

1) A (Dev)

2) B (Quality)

3) C (prod)

SAP ECC 2 has got 5 systems in the landscape

1) D (Dev)

2) E (Quality 1)

3) F (Quality 2)

4) G (Regression)

5) H (prod).

Now during testing, system B needs to be connected to E, F and G in different phases. I have created a technical system  and a Business system for B and connected to E.Its working fine.

Problem is when I want to connect B to F, I need to provide a different business system name for B for F (because its different env), If I try to create a new BS with same technical system name for B, I get a message that technical system for B is already being used for another business system.

Has anyone faced this issue. Any suggestion how to overcome this problem ?

Hi Ravi,

One of the possible solution is to have different client for ECC 1 system B. so you can create different logical system and Business system for different clients.

But if you not have different client then (assuming PI also had three systems A, B and C)

1. for ECC1 to ECC2 scenario

Add ECC receiver system F and G in receiver determination and create remaining configuration manually in QA system.
